Is Tivo the new Stevo !

I’m lying on my bed on a Thursday night watching "The Nine" on my 42" plasma something I seem to be doing way 2 often these days when Dala3 calls

Dala3: what r up to girl
DC: nothing just bumming and watching TV with Zuzu , what's up?
Dala3: I’m bored , wanna do something ?
DC: I don't know...what do u have in mind?
Dala3: anything , JUST ANYTHING I’m bored out of my mind here
DC: so am I but there's nothing to do here... absolutely no actionation whatsoever.... I swear I think aliens abducted everyone worth looking @ in this city !!! y don't u come over and watch TV with us instead , we downloaded a few new shows
Dala3: I swear to God that's all u do these days , ur such a looser and I think ur zombiefying me cus I seem to be doing the same. I need new friends for real!!
DC: ur such a drama queen ,seriously figure out what u wanna do then call me , or check with Doli or Kuku maybe they have something in mind.
Dala3: I hate you u know , if u find me dead in my room tomorrow it's all on u !
DC: I’ll live... yalla go check with the girls and get back to me ...

Sounds familiar doesn’t it .... u've done everything , been everywhere but everything is blah all of a sudden. The things u used to enjoy to do are no longer fun and u'd rather stay home with McDreamy , Mcsteamy and jack rather than go out where u might just might meet someone interesting who u won't even click with and chances are won't ever c again !

Seriously what's wrong with this picture?
isn't single suppose to = free, exciting , endless opportunities, fun the whole shebang. Why would we rather stay home than go out and meet people, are we old lazy and boring or are we just plain worn out and don't wanna waist our energy and time attempting to start something that probably won't work ? (and yes I realize how pessimistic this sounds).

I have a theory, an outrageous one but a theory nonetheless. Relationships are hard work and a degree of uncertainty is unavoidable. Let's face it , in this day and age most of us are unwilling to really put in all this effort and work into a relationship that might not work or settle for something merely mediocre which it'll probably end up being since we sure as hell won't be getting the perfect fairy tail ending anytime soon !
when u come to think of it our relationship with our TV is most stable and rewarding relationship we can actually find these days. I know this sounds crazy but think about it...u have a set date with a bunch of hot actors who aim to please u every single time, they're never late, mouthy, jealous or clingy, u avoid all the relationship drama and u don't even need to dress up for them :)
